Emil Assing Høyer is a danish composer, music producer and sound designer from Copenhagen. He graduated as a sound designer from The Danish National School of Performance Arts in 2009.

In Sweden he has done My Fair Lady at Stockholms Stadsteater, with director Elisa Kragerup and music for Lord of flies (2022), director Johan Paus at Helsingborg Stadsteater.
Emil is also a part of the danish performance group LOGEN.
Emil is honored to have received work grants from the Danish Arts Foundation in 2016, 2018, 2020, 2021 and 2022.
Emil was the driving force behind the electronica band Atoi, whose music defied categorization and resonated with music enthusiasts worldwide with their two album released on the record label Fake Diamond Records.
Atoi were discovered by Björk no less, who featured their own sublime cover of the track Army of Me on her Tsunami Benefit long player, ‘Army of Me – Remixes and Covers’.
Atoi played concerts at some of the most recognized venues and festivals like Roskilde Festival in Denmark, but also toured in Sweden and New York – Atoi was picked out for the Jenny Wilson tour in Denmark and they have supported James Blake in Copenhagen.
